Yes, this is indeed a cool one. You've got Kid Loco mixing a couple of tracks on it for a start. He's a guy that knows his stuff allowing the laconic and melodic "Glitter Song" and "Unsung Feeling" to positively reek of urban chic.

Louise Quinn's vocals exude charm and yet remain unapproachable at the same time. You just know she'll dress classy (should you ever be so lucky as to see her across a crowded room!). I'm drifting again as the haunting electronica of "Baby When I See Your Eyes" washes over me but, fortunately, there is a bit of out and out chart grabbing pop in the eminently danceable "DIY" to drag me back to reality

Barring "DIY", this album does, however, tend towards being too cool for school.  It's a classy affair without a doubt and that will no doubt win it many friends. Yes it's also far more stylish than the norm in Glasgow but I keep getting the urge to compare it to Marks & Spencer ready made meals. On the surface, very appealing, but underneath it all it's just not particularly exciting.
